A small program, a big difference

Navbat does something very simple: it shows how many people are ahead of you.

It does not shorten the queue. It does not make the doctor faster. But it removes the uncertainty — and uncertainty is what exhausts people, not the waiting itself.

What the numbers said

In the first month the average time saved was 38 minutes. Not because the queue got shorter — people simply started arriving on time.

That became the most important lesson for me: often the problem is not the process, but the fact that it is invisible.
